This is my latest project.  For this one I kept it much simpler I think, but I am happy with how it turned out.  Not sure if I can get it loaded before the contest ends, but either way I enjoyed making it.

Tonight I've tackled the weekly sketch offered by Card Patterns.  I've stayed up much too late, because I couldn't resist this week's amazing design they have posted!

I've always been a HUGE fan of black and white with a splash of one or two bright colors so I decided to go with it using the turquoise and white, foil paper as my base pattern and putting everything else together sround it. 

Anyway, that's my take on this week's amazing design!

I've created this blog as a way to keep track of what to do with my crafts.  I've scrapbooked for years and have recently discovered the fun world of card making... I have to say that I'm definitely hooked!  I've decided to give myself the challenge of creating at least 2 cards a week for a year using my own designs/sketches that I create or those I find on other sites like Pinterest and Image Map.  I don't know if anyone will see fit to follow this blog, but if there are followers out there feel free to use my sketch ideas or to link to any of my projects.
